1. Use of the Service

1.1 Eligibility

2. File Ownership and Processing

2.1 Your files remain yours

When you upload files to 24Convert, you remain the owner of your files. These Terms do not give us any ownership rights over your content.

2.2 License to process your files

In order to provide the Service (such as converting, compressing or otherwise processing files), you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to:

• receive, temporarily store, process, and transmit your files; and
• generate and provide you with the resulting output files.

This license is solely for operating the Service and ends when your files and related outputs are deleted from our systems.

2.3 File storage and deletion

We store your files only for as long as necessary to provide the Service and to allow you to download the results. After that, your files and processed outputs are automatically deleted from our systems within a short period of time.

We do not use your files for advertising, training data, or any unrelated purposes.

3. Prohibited Content and Copyright

3.1 Your responsibility

You are solely responsible for the content of the files you upload and process using the Service. By using the Service, you confirm that:

• you have the necessary rights, licenses, or permissions to use, upload, and process the files; and
• your use of the Service does not violate any laws or third-party rights.

3.2 No copyright infringement

You may not use the Service to upload, share, or process content that infringes any copyright or other intellectual property rights, including but not limited to:

• movies, TV shows, music, books, software, or other content acquired illegally; or
• content you do not have the right to reproduce, modify, or convert.

3.3 No DRM / technical protection circumvention

You may not use the Service to:

• bypass, remove, or circumvent digital rights management (DRM), encryption, or other technological protection measures (TPMs);
• convert or download content from streaming platforms or online services that are protected by DRM or usage restrictions, without proper authorization.

3.4 Consequences of violations

If we believe that you are violating these rules, we may, at our sole discretion:

• remove or disable access to the affected content;
• restrict or terminate your access to the Service; and/or
• cooperate with rights holders or authorities where required by law.

4. DMCA and Copyright Complaints

24Convert respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users to do the same.

If you are a copyright holder (or authorized agent) and believe that content processed through our Service infringes your copyright, you may send us a notice including:

• your name and contact details;
• a description of the copyrighted work you claim is infringed;
• information sufficient to locate the allegedly infringing material;
• a statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law; and
• a statement that the information in the notice is accurate, and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf.

5. Links to Third-Party Sites

The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by 24Convert.

We do not control or endorse the content, products, or services of any third-party sites and are not responsible for any damage or loss caused by your use of such sites. You access third-party websites at your own risk and should review their terms and privacy policies.

6. “As-Is” Disclaimer

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without any warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

We do not guarantee that:

• the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure;
• the converted files will always meet your expectations; or
• any errors or defects will be corrected immediately.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, 24Convert, its owner, and any collaborators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation loss of profits, data loss, business interruption, or other intangible losses arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Service.

Where any liability cannot be fully excluded, our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amount you have paid us (if any) in connection with the Service during the three (3) months preceding the claim. If you have not made any payments, your sole remedy is to stop using the Service.

These limitations apply even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately, and we may delete any remaining files or related data stored on our systems in accordance with our Privacy Policy and data retention practices.

9. Changes to the Service and to These Terms

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We may also update these Terms from time to time.

When we make changes to these Terms, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree with the changes, you must stop using the Service.

10. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, all text, design, logos, and other content on 24Convert.com are owned by us or used under license.

You may access and use our content only for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not, without our prior written permission:

• copy, reproduce, distribute, or modify our website content for commercial purposes; or
• use our name, logo, or branding in a way that implies endorsement or affiliation.

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction where the owner / operator of 24Convert resides, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Where permitted by law, you agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that jurisdiction.

12. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding your use of the Service and supersede any prior agreements or understandings (written or oral) related to the Service.

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
